 Another birthday, 26th to be exact, and I am cheated out of another celebration with you. My only peace about it is that you live in paradise and I will get to see you in God's time. I often wonder what would you be doing at 26 years old? Would your plans of being a Harvard graduate and Marine Officer be fulfilled? Knowing you and your determination, of course, they would have!!! Happy Birthday my sweet Baby Boy. You are truly my greatest blessing and love.

     Jonathan, 2some, 6yrs =20. 2me, 6yrs=seconds ago.  You're in a dimension where Perfection dwells, therefore sorrow cannot penetrate its secure walls.. That's a Happy 20th Birthday for real!! How I long 2bthere with you. People say, "time heals all wounds". It is my humble opinion, those "people" don't really exist. This wound is unbearable and only God's grace carries me through each moment of each day without you.

    June 28th is a day "we" who remain commemorate you in our own way. Alicia, Grama,Grandad, Uncle Ammie, Uncle Bernie, Auntie Gat, Mr. Eric, Ms. Andrea, Asha, Kai and your BFF, Ej and me ,most of all, miss you beyond words. Merry Christmas Jonathan ( a note from Mom)

Jonathan, 

6yrs without you on Christmas Day, unbelievable. But, I'm sure you celebrate Christmas everyday  with much joy. After all, "It's Bout That Life.. Jesus Christ!" You have two Beautiful new cousins, Amir and Amara. I sit and imagine what a proud Big Cousin you'd have been to them!! I get to meet them today and I'm very excited. I will give them a special hug and kiss from you!!  It is said that time heals all wounds. NOT TRUE.  Day to day is such a struggle, but I've perfected hiding it because life must go on. As I write these words, I realize I'm really writing to myself, however,my mind chooses to believe you are reading each and every word. But in the end, all that really matters is that I Love you, I miss you, I Love you, I miss you and I Love you.  We all Love, miss you Infinity and Beyond. Merry Christmas my Sweet Son. Donate Life Day At PETCO Park (San Diego Padres Game)

Yesterday was Donate Life Day at Petco Park as the San Diego Padres played The Milwaukee Brewers. As many of you know, Jonathan's organs were donated after his passing and this was a great event for donors, family members of donors and donor recipients. Yesterday also served as a way to introduce the new Donate Life California License Plate . Linda (Jonathan's Mom) and myself had a great time and met a couple in which the wife received a heart 8 years ago and she looks vibrant and wonderful( They are in the video below). The husband says the night of her transplant was the best day of their marriage but she slept through the whole thing(LOL). Below is a short video my sister and I shot along with photos for the event. I urge every one to become and organ donor. We Miss You Lil' Dude! Mommy has a song for you!! (Don't Cry)

   Jonathan, when I hear this song it reminds me of you. I know in heaven this song is alive and true. Can't help but do the  things the song asks me not to.

   Although 5 years is coming to a close, it still seems like August 6, 2009. Not one second in any day goes by without me thinking of you and begging God to turn back time. I miss you beyond what any human can comprehend. 

   I'm grateful that you are in a BEAUTIFUL place with the creator of this universe and that you will always be my Jonathan David. Try to limit your questions for God to 500 per day! Until we meet again, I love you Infinity and Beyond-
